I didn’t receive a verification mail.

Please make sure to check your spam mailbox first. If you cannot find an email, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to https://wallet.getadcoin.com/.
  2. Click “Forgot your password?”.
  3. Provide the email address you used for your order.
  4. You will receive an email to reset your password.
  5. After you changed your password you will be taken to your AdCoin web wallet. You can verify your order by going to the “order” page and by clicking the “verify” button.

How do I send my coins to another wallet?

You can easily send your AdCoin to another wallet. With the web wallet you can use the subject “New Payment” and with the desktop wallet you can use the subject “Versturen”. You have to enter the amount of coins that you want to send to another wallet and enter a valid “Deposit Wallet address”. When you use the web wallet you can also use the QR-scan or enter an email address to find the wallet address.

The price at getadcoin.com differs from the price on coinmarketcap.com.

Yes, that is possible because Coinmarketcap determines the AdCoin price by the lowest price on the exchanges. This price can be the price of a very small order or a buy order and doesn’t represent the ‘real value’. Furthermore, we use a little fee to fund the developments at AdCoin.

I have problems with the 2FA.

When you use the 2FA, you have to install the Google Authenticator app and scan the barcode that you get. If you lose your 2FA you have to contact support@getadcoin.com and with the right verification we can reset the 2FA.

The status of my transaction is ‘unconfirmed’.

It can take some time before the transaction is confirmed, so please be patient.

How can I get a wallet address?

You can make an account and a wallet address at https://wallet.getadcoin.com/login or you can install the desktop wallet at https://www.getadcoin.com/wallet/.

I forgot my password (web wallet).

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to https://wallet.getadcoin.com/.
  2. Click “Forgot your password?”.
  3. Provide the email address you used for your order.
  4. You will receive an email to reset your password.

I have entered the wrong email address.

When you entered the wrong email address please send an email to support@adcoin.com with the right email address, order number and full name.

I lost my desktop wallet and I don’t have a backup

When you don’t have a backup and you lose your wallet, we can’t do anything for you. So, make sure that you make a backup!

How can I replace my desktop wallet backup?

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Install a new AdCoin wallet on your PC or Mac as instructed by the wallet guide.
  2. Open and close the wallet.
  3. Locate your backup (walletbackup.dat or how you called it) and rename it to wallet.dat.
  4. Go to the following folder (it may be hidden, which you can change in the map options) and replace the wallet.dat file with your backup file from step 3 –Windows: C:Users*WINDOWSUSERNAME*AppDataRoamingAdCoin
    Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Bitcoin/

My desktop wallet is out of sync.

That is no problem at all. Every hour new blocks will fall and your wallet will get synced automatically. That is also the moment that new transactions are getting confirmed inside your wallet. Please make sure that your wallet is connected with internet.

I forgot my password (desktop wallet).

Do not forget this password! Store it somewhere safe, because if you forget it we will not be able to help you.

I can’t install the desktop wallet, because my virus scanner gives an error.

It is possible that your virus scanner gives an error. However, the desktop wallet is completely safe and virus free. So in order to install the desktop wallet, you might have to switch off your virus scanner for a moment. If you do not want to do that, you can always use our web wallet.
